Chamber Singers of Keene, founded in 1994, is dedicated to bringing choral chamber music in all its forms to audiences in the Monadnock Region. Although not limited to music of any single period, the Chamber Singers present a variety of styles and period of music, both a cappella and with appropriate instrumental accompaniment. Past performances have included works by Vivaldi, Charpentier, Purcell, Palestrina, Brahms, Britten, Rutter, Thompson, and Copeland.

Cheshiremen Chorus Cheshiremen Chorus

The Keene Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society is the home of the Cheshiremen Chorus. The chapter has been singing music in the Barbershop Style since 1952. Every Tuesday night, we welcome men who love to sing, and who want learn more about the Barbershop style of music and make 50 new friends.

The Keene Chapter and the Cheshiremen Chorus is the region's premier choral organization, while encompassing the Society's vision of an ever-growing, singing fraternity, drawn together by love of the four-part, a cappella, close-harmony style of music known as barbershop.

Our current membership boasts singers aged from 17 to 80+; folks who are employed in and retired from varied professions. We’re from many communities in New Hampshire, Vermont & Massachusetts.

Keene Kids for Chorus Keene Kids Folk Chorus

For Kids age 6 through 10. Learn songs, chants, movement, games & rhythms from around the world in an atmosphere of discovery and experimentation. Have fun while learning valuable music skills and repertoire.  Explore and improvise with sound, voice & movement. This 8-week session will end with a relaxed “friends and family” presentation.

The Monadnock Chorus is a volunteer, non-profit organization with the purpose of performing choral works in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. We present our members with the opportunity to sing some of the most beautiful music ever written. We also give our audiences the chance to hear this wonderful music performed live right in our own geographical area.

Norway Pond Festival Singers Norway Pond Festival Singers

A women’s vocal ensemble that is organized into five intensive 4-6 week sessions, featuring two major concerts (in February and June) and two "A Cappella" workshops. Our third session also adds men's voices to the ensemble.

Our Philosophy: There is nothing more profound than the joy a singer feels when she has transformed an audience by communicating the essence of the music and the intention of the composer. It is not enough to be just excellent, a successful performance also has to be effective and affecting.

Peterborough Chamber Choir Peterborough Chamber Choir

The Peterborough Chamber Choir was organized in January, 1991 by director David Vernier primarily to perform 19th and 20th century works for small ensemble by American and European composers. Its widely varied repertoire now includes renaissance and early-baroque motets, folksong arrangements, English, French, and German partsongs, spirituals, and even a couple of jazz settings.

Keene World Community Chorus Keene World Harmony Chorus

A world harmony teen and adult community chorus for men and women.  Participants learn to sing traditional songs from America, the Republic of Georgia, South Africa, Bulgaria, Quebec, Corsica, American folk and more; no previous experience or music-reading ability required.  The chorus is held at the Keene Unitarian Church (KUUC) on Washington Street.  Fall and Winter/Spring sessions.

Lynn and Will Rowan are veteran workshop leaders with Northern Harmony and Renewal, teachers for Village Harmony, and members of the award-winning trio Windborne.  They have traveled the world collecting songs.  Lynn and Will have an energetic, easy-going teaching style.  They teach not only the notes, but also new ways of using one's voice and stories of all the places the songs come from.

The Keene Chorale

The Keene Chorale is a community chorus composed of singers from many walks of life from Keene and the greater Monadnock region. For over thirty years we have been delighting our audiences by performing the best of choral music for the enjoyment of those who sing and those who listen. Programs have ranged from Palestrina to Poulenc and Schubert to Stravinsky with stops along the way to visit Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Copland, and MacDowell.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays at 7:30 from September through April at the Unitarian Universalist Church on Washington Street in Keene.

Two Rivers Community Choir Two Rivers Community Choir

We are a fun-loving, non-auditioned, mixed (SATB) choir for ages 17 and up, dedicated to building a supportive ensemble, where camaraderie and giving back to the community are integral parts of our endeavor. TRCC was founded in 2008 by director, Marybeth Hallinan. Concerts are in the form of community fundraisers. Our music covers an eclectic, diverse range, including but not limited to: gospel, contemporary, folk, Renaissance, and shape note.
