We are a diverse group of commercial and fine art photographers, designers, writers, crafts people, web designers, fiber artists, and anyone involved in the creative world of the Monadnock region and beyond. Some of us make our sole living through our art form, others pursue on a part time basis, others just for the love of it. Our mission is to network with each other, educate, and show the public and business community the resources they have right here for their creative needs.

We provide and sustain a public venue where citizens of the Monadnock region can pursue artistic, educational and civic activities. The Center's goal is to contribute to the cultural enrichment and enlightenment of the community.

The MacDowell Colony nurtures the arts by offering creative individuals of the highest talent an inspiring environment in which to produce enduring works of the imagination.

The Mariposa is a "hands-on" museum or folk artifacts from around the world. Our exhibits, performances and programs, inviting for all ages, celebrate the rich diversity of world cultures and the common humanity that connects us all.

Monadnock Summer Lyceum presents between eight and ten cultural events in the Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church on Sundays, between the end of June and beginning of September.

In 1981 KSC’s Redfern Arts Center on Brickyard Pond opened its doors to serve the academic and community needs in the fine and performing arts. The RACBP schedules concerts, theatrical productions, dance concerts, recitals and art exhibits by the College’s academic programs and presents performances by outstanding professional artists in dance, theater, and music, attracting audiences from the Tri-state region.

The Redfern Arts Center is committed to bringing to the campus and the region professional artists of the highest quality and from the broadest possible range of races, cultures, experiences, and backgrounds through presenting performances, workshops, and educational outreach activities that foster a love and appreciation of the performing arts.

RAC highlights in recent years include an impressive roster of artists, residencies and collaborations. Among those highlights are performances by the Martha Graham Dance Company, I Musici de Montreal, Pilobolus, Shakespeare & Company, Ronald K. Brown/ Evidence, Gamelan Galak Tika, Keigwin+Company, Turtle Island String Quartet, New Orlean's Hot 8 Brass Band, Aquila Theatre Company, Sandglass Theatre and Cambodia's Sovanna Phum's New England tour of The Story of the Dog, Alpha Yaya Diallo, Rubberbandance Group and much more.

A unique space and people dedicated to serving both artist and audience through performance, lecture, workshop, and gallery. Founded by Aaron Wiederspahn, Keri Wiederspahn, and Laina Barakat.

Since 1992, Whole Terrain: Journal of Reflective Environmental Practice has been exploring ecological and social issues from the unique perspective of environmental practitioners. A nationally acclaimed literary journal published by Antioch University New England, Whole Terrain is a place where new and established writers and artists come together with environmental professionals, students and faculty from around the world to examine such diverse themes as “Risk,” “Serious Play,” “Celebration and Ceremony,” and “((r)e)volution.” Widely recognized for its forward-thinking contribution to nature literacy and environmental awareness, over the years Whole Terrain has attracted writers such as Ann Zwinger, Rick Bass, John Elder, Lynn Margulis, Gary Paul Nabhan, Mitch Thomashow and Terry Tempest Williams. Not limited to established authors, Whole Terrain welcomes new voices as well. The result is a high-quality journal of professional reflection that brings a constellation of perspectives to bear on some of the most important issues facing us today.
